Get-DEBIAN

Get-DEBIAN allows You to automatically create a local debian mirror
of one specific release in one specific architecture, optionally
with contrib and non-free.
Packages are downloaded from a Debian GNU/Linux server and of
course You can freely choose release, arch and server.

Usage:

  To download and create a new mirror just run the script in an
  empty directory on a filesystem that supports symlinks.

  To upgrade an existing mirror just re-run the script and make
  sure the directory is writeable. It will only download
  the new files and save a lot of download time.

  This script needs a filesystem which supports symlinks and hardlinks.

  This script needs bash as a shell instead of dash or ash.

  This code is drived from my own project get-nonfree-nonUS.

  For using PROXY servers You have to define the environment
  variables http_proxy and possibly ftp_proxy.

  If You want to use PROXY authentication You can use the
  environment variable WGET_OPTS:

  WGET_OPTS="--proxy=on --proxy-user=foo --proxy-passwd=bar" \
  http_proxy="http://http-proxy.anywhere.org:80" \
  ftp_proxy="http://ftp-proxy.anywhere.org:80" \
  ./get-debian
