Get-DEBIAN allows You to automatically create a local debian mirror
of one specific release in one specific architecture, optionally
with contrib and non-free.
Packages are downloaded from a Debian GNU/Linux server and of
course You can freely choose release, arch and server.

To download and create a new mirror just run the script in an
empty directory on a filesystem that supports symlinks.
To upgrade an existing mirror just re-run the script and make
sure the directory is writeable. It will only download
the new files and save a lot of download time.
This script has to run on a filesystem which supports symlinks.
This script needs bash as a shell instead of dash or ash.
This code is drived from my get-nonfree-nonUS.
For using PROXY servers You have to define the environment
variables http_proxy and possibly ftp_proxy.
If You want to use PROXY authentication You can use the
environment variable WGET_OPTS:
WGET_OPTS="--proxy=on --proxy-user=foo --proxy-passwd=bar" \
